MINI-CAMPSITE DE KAMPEERTUIN: CAMPING IN AN OLD ORCHARD
Welcome to our mini-campsite De Kampeertuin, where you will stay between the old pear trees in our lovely orchard. The site is located just outside the village of Wijdenes, between Hoorn and Enkhuizen in the beautiful region of West-Friesland. The lake called Markermeer (part of the IJsselmeer) is within cycling distance. Small beaches at the edge of the lake offer an opportunity to swim and play. As the water near most of these beaches is rather shallow, small children can play there safely. Around Wijdenes you’ll find plenty of cycling routes that will lead you to charming towns and villages while passing through the beautiful countryside.
Our small campsite has 25 pitches, all equiped with electricity. The pitches are suitable for small and large tents, caravans and campervans. As the campsite is part of an old orchard, your camping pitch is surrounded by pear trees, giving you lots of privacy. The recently built facilities include three spacious shower stalls and several wash basins, each with an unlimited hot water supply. The toilets are in a separate space located next to the wash rooms.
From the campsite you can catch a glimpse of our floral nursery, where – during the summer months – all kinds of flowers are in full bloom.
Rental bikes can be hired at Het Rijwielhuis in the nearby village of Hem (a 3 minute drive by car, or half an hour walking).
We would love to welcome you at our beautiful green campsite. For more information and the availability of pitches, please contact the Radier family through our contact page or by phone: +31 (0) 6 21 401 301
